Open Evening for reception intake 2022 will be held on Wednesday 17th November  and Thursday 2nd December between 4.00pm & 6.00pm

At Ursuline we can admit up to a maximum of 60 pupils, our standard admission number, into our Reception classes each year. Our total school capacity is 420 pupils.

 All applications must be made by completing the Common Application Form for admission to Primary School and return it to the Local Authority.  An additional a supplementary faith form should be completed and returned to school (with a copy of birth/baptism certificate and proof of address).

Where the number of applications exceeds the number of places available the Governing Body will apply the over subscription criteria.

The process for admissions is timetabled as follows:

  • September

Booklets and common application forms will be available from the Admissions Section, Bootle Town Hall. http://www.sefton.gov.uk/schools-learning/school-admissions.aspx

  • 15th January

Completed application forms must be returned by parents/carers to Sefton Council's Admissions Section, Bootle Town Hall.

Supplementary faith forms must be returned to the school. Please download and return the form to admin.ursuline@schools.sefton.gov.uk or by completing the electronic version by following this link https://forms.gle/B9k76HtoaSL8njHv8

Any parents unable to have child  baptised due to Covid19, will still have to show evidence that they have started the baptism process with  a letter  from your parish church office.

  • April

Parents/carers will receive a letter from the Authority informing them of the allocated Primary School.

  • Summer term

Appeals hearings will take place.
