Dear Parents and Carers,
As we are still waiting for more guidance from government regarding when more children will be returning to school and with non essential shops starting to reopen including uniform shops, I wanted to write to send out some reassurance to those families who may be struggling financially because of this pandemic or to the families who may not have been able to wear uniform they have purchased due to school closure.
If guidance changes which we hope it does and children can return in September, then the children are welcome to wear summer uniform or Reception uniform if they are transitioning to Year 1. Parents do not need to purchase the Ursuline backpack as a book bag is sufficient for school. Again, any small bag will suffice for the time being if parents are struggling.
We are hoping to offer uniform to families who need it and would be grateful if anyone has any spare uniform that could be gifted to families. If so, could you please bring it to school so we can pass this on. A box will be left in the foyer.
We do not want any of our families worrying about purchasing uniform at this time. Please email our help email address, firstname.lastname@example.org, if you need support with this.
