General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
At Ursuline we collect and use a range of data to carry out our work. The GDPR replaced the previous Data Protection Act on 25 May 2018. It affects how organisations, including schools, manage, protect and share personal data.
The General Data Protection Regulation requires us to make it clear how we use any data we might hold. We have a range of policies and notices, available via our website. Updates to our policies, as they are reviewed, will make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information.
Ursuline is working with Nexus Protect (www.nexus-protect.com) to review and monitor all aspects of GDPR. Their managing director, Nick Holden, acts as our Data Protection Officer.
